To start this off, thank you so much for the ARC Wild Card ebook, Emma!! I swear you can’t write a single bad book, I’m obsessed! And this was my 100th book of 2025, incredible.
It was so wonderful to go back to Sheet Cake, Texas for a visit with the Graham family. James, Pat, and Collin are all incredible men and I love reading their stories.
The Wild Card focused on Collin and Molly. I won’t go into details so I don’t spoil any surprises of a brand new book. So to sum it up, yes, just yes. I loved Collin’s story. I loved Molly’s story more. But together….chef’s kiss. Absolutely perfect. While Pat is still my favorite Graham man, Collin is definitely neck and neck with him.
I loved seeing the way that Collin and Molly grew to trust each other, and how they were able to heal each other. It was truly beautiful to see how Molly was able to open up and trust that Collin wasn’t like her dad. After all, isn’t that many a girl’s fear?
Just saying….I have such a hard time hyping up a book without spoiling everything. So I’ll just say this. The Wild Card was the perfect homecoming book. It’s been awhile since I’ve visited Sheet Cake and this eased a yearning that I didn’t even realize was there.
This book releases on November 6th and if you haven’t already pre-ordered it, you definitely should! Preorder here (affiliate link)
